WORKSHOP 1
Growing Spiritual Habits in Children
Speakers: Jennifer & Amos Kwok
This workshop covers several core Biblical principles on nurturing
and shepherding children. Each segment will start with the sharing
of a Biblical principle followed by examples on how diff erent
families apply it in their lives. Participants will then have the
opportunity to refl ect, share and discuss issues on making these
principles a part of their family life.
WORKSHOP 2
Children in Praise & Worship
Speaker: David Leong
Can children praise and worship God? How did a Hebrew child
learn to do that? Th is workshop aims to give teachers and parents
real-life examples and practical tips on how they can teach and
lead children and infants from young to give our great God
and Saviour Jesus the kind of worship that delights Him.
WORKSHOP 3
Children & Families in Missions
Speakers: Cheah Fung Fong, Chew Kim Ling,
Heng Ghin Ee & Lee Hwee Chin
Ever thought about bringing your children on a Missions trip?
Is it possible that children can minister to others cross-culturally?
Come and fi nd out from a panel of 4 Children Ministry leaders
who have brought teams of children/families on Missions
trips to various parts of Asia. Hear testimonies of how children
and youth have eff ectively shared the gospel to people in other
nations and fi nd out the A to Z of planning for a children’s
Missions trip, preparations to see to, programmes to run and
points to look out for while on the field.
WORKSHOP 4
Pre-Teens Ministry & Transition to Youth Ministry
Speaker: Stephanie Choong
Th is workshop will give a glimpse into the multi-faceted
life of a pre-teen and the challenges they face. We will also
explore what their needs are and how we can reach out
to them eff ectively with the love of God. Stephanie
will share practical examples on how parents and
Youth Ministry workers can use the word of God
to teach our pre-teens to be victorious Christians
walking close to God daily.
